how many months before yall felt comfortable pushing your baby in a stroller at the park? i feel like by the time i can…

I’ll be taking my new baby on walks as soon as I feel physically ready, probably 4 weeks pp. I’ll just make sure it’s not too hot out. Our car seat/stroller combo has the canopy that closes all the way over the baby so I can completely keep her under that if I want to, or let her get some air. The hard part is gonna be having my toddler walk beside me while pushing the stroller😑

@lavender13 i was pretty overprotected when I had my baby I wasn't comfortable with people hold him until after his two months people still held him tho...just the past two weeks I've been taking him outside he loves it even naps well outside I'm going to start walking around the track with him this week I have a stroller that fits his cars seat so I can cover him with his car seat cover if its to windy

I took my son for walks as soon as we got nice weather. He was probably 3-4 weeks old the first time I took him out

I was going for walks when he was about 3 months. But it was also almost winter time. But we went for occasional walks right after he was born. A blanket and maybe a car seat cover should be just fine.

@leroydoom, that’s a good idea. i’ll sit outside with him. may help me feel better too to get out

@lavender13 Maybe just start with sitting outside with him in your lap when he's a little older and go from there. I let my son have tummy time outside when he was four months old in the backyard on his playmat and he loved just looking around.

@avahcruz, oh okay. i know my baby needs more sun for sure. i’ll try a walk around the neighborhood once the rainy days are done

I just carried him, it’s not really windy here lol so nothing special. Vitamin D is good for them 😊

@lavender13 Just wait until your comfortable :) if you take him out and you're a nervous wreck the whole time you're just not going to enjoy the walk at all.

I took my son as a newborn. I would just drape a muslin swaddle over the stroller or pull the cover all the way down. Its good for them to get fresh air.

I took my son on walks right outside of my house since he was a newborn and I would just hold him, I didn’t do public PUBLIC places until he was 3 months
