Being sick with a horrible cold and being 37 weeks pregnant isn't such a good combination #nosleep #cantbreathe…

take a claritin D or a zyrtec D. I know there’s a lot of controversy over taking a decongestant but when i was in the hospital at 30 weeks I had a horrible cold and that’s what they gave me and said it was safe. it should help. personally i think claritin D works better

Oh, yea most definitely, you need all the rest and energy you can get, if its a cold I don't think it will last longer than that, maybe your primary doctor could give you some kind of prescription though

@sdc3615, I tried the nose spray but it didn't really do anything 🤦🏻‍♀️ I tried calling my doctor because it's gotten worse and I'm really congested and she just said I have to hold on 😑 I'm 37 weeks and I have a scheduled c section in 14 days . I hope it goes away before that

Oh... Its something about being sick while your pregnant, I had 2 humidifiers going and tried about every "severe" cold meds there was, have you tried a neti pot or nose spray, I would take the nighttime meds too and just slept through the cold too

@sdc3615, yes:/ I've tried that I even go do the vapor steam bath and I put Vicks and nothing . I feel really congested on my chest which sucks 🤦🏻‍♀️😔 I've had tea to help with my throats since it hurts as well but nothing helps my congestion

Have you tried sleeping with a humidifier
