Today is my sons birthday and I have been planning on taking my sons to this one place for months but for one thing my boyfriend doesn’t think they deserve it because they aren’t potty trained and he’d rather stay home and watch his video game league then go celebrate my sons birthday.... I’m just so frustrated
@alyssa_hoffmaster its not easy w a new baby and small children but..trust me children DESERVE their birthday to be celebrated..my oldest son's friends would tell me some never had a party okay forget a party not even a little cake w their name on it.

@sherrynygirl, ya I want to but I also have my daughter with me and it might be hard to control all three kids in a crowded place. But I probably will end up taking them anyways

Summer birthday and starting school Do you start Kinder when they are 5 or hold them until they turn 6? I asked a similar question in the parenting group and ended up in a debate. I am holding my son in preK one more year. He will be 5 this July, but he won't start kinder until he is 6. I went back and forth on this one but am confident in my final decision. So, have you chosen to send your summer birthday child to school when they are 5 or 6 and why?

Summer Birthday and School My son is 4. His birthday is in mid July. We are going to hold him in pre school one more year. Did any of you with school age kids do this, too? How have they done in school being older?

@alyssa_hoffmaster yest i worked from 8am- almost 7..came home washed my face and ran after my son at chucke e cheeses just a little something and had my teenager in movies in same plaza same time i was tired but..they are more important than me sleeping
