If you and your children's father are together and you ask him to keep an eye on the kids for like 2 hours so you can get some rest, should he? Because my husband doesn't feel like he has to help!

If you're a stay at home mom, then yes, technically it is your job. But that doesn't mean you can't have or deserve breaks! It's his job too, as a dad, to care for and raise his children, and to support you especially when you ask for help.

I was so sick yesterday, and without asking my fiance took over entertaining and caring for the boy, so I could rest.

Can you sit down with him one day and explain that you really do need help, need a break, even just a few hours to relax? Maybe like on Thursday explain that you really need a break that weekend, that he should take the kids to the mall/park/grandparents/etc for a while?

And all I ask for is a break every now and then and he acts like it's the end of the world

Yeah he doesn't feel that way he feels it's the moms job to change diapers, bathe, and dress them and feed them and make sure their mental health is on track
