Did anyone get the TDAP shot during pregnancy??? I never get my flu shot no reason I just hate needles and have always had a strong immune system.. But my nurse asked me if I want the TDAP shot and I hate needles but the benefits are good.. opinions ???I'm here right now ! Lol trying to make a decision

Its your decision its your body and baby. I didn't and neither did my sister in law and our kids have never had the flu so far. And we were pregnant around flu season too.

@andreana4265 yeah the flu shot isn't a big deal to me but the TDAP one is like for tetanus or something ?? I have to learn more lol

I got it right after birth, in the hospital. I meant to while pregnant but I forgot.

Oh my bad lol. That one I think I got. But yea read up on it first then decide. I'm sure you can get it later.

I would get it. They definitely would not offered it if it wasn't safe and It will help protect both you and the baby.

I did. The flu isn’t really a biggie if u don’t get it but the TDAP has a lot more to it that can protect you and your baby until he/she has gotten his first set of shots

I ended up getting just the TDAP shot lol everything went well, my arm was fine all day but now st the end of the day I can barely lift it ! Ugh lol thanks for all the opinions and support ladies
