Yes and I had that concern with my last son but the doctor told me let him sleep he will wake up when he is hungry enjoy the resting time because we don’t get much with newborns.

@krys, i just feel like if i let him keep sleeping he will get too hungry :/ but i have appreciated the resting time

@lavender13, I understand I felt like that to I honestly think that’s just the loving mommy in you concerned about your baby but he will be ok ... but if your super concerned you can always ask your doctor for advice and see what he/ she thinks about it

@lavender13, yes I understand I would wake malik if he was looking a little to wet or anything also but if he was ok I would just let him be the longest he ever went was a good solid 5 hours without waking to eat

@krys, oh wow 5hrs. see thats what im afraid of. i think Ashan would sleep that long if i let him. he would just be so hungry by the time he woke up :/
