I’m tired of arguing with people who think it’s ok to get piercings done with piercing guns instead of a piercing needle. “Oh I got my kids ears done at Clair’s and she’s fine”. It’s like talking to a fucking wall. WAIT AND FIND A LICENSED TATTOO/PIERCING SHOP THAT WILL DO IT RIGHT WITH A NEEDLE.

@metzgerfamilysoonbe82018 I plan on letting my daughter decide for herself as well. That's why I didn't get mine done until I was 16.
That is exactly what I intend to do if any of my children want ears pierced. Those mall places are grimy.
@sabreycastro1996 oh okay. I had mine done at Wal-Mart. IDK if they did it with a gun or a needle? I want to get my girls ears done, but I thought it over. They might not want them done. So they can get it done when they r older n can think for themselves.
@metzgerfamilysoonbe82018, the gun is not safe, it cause blunt force trauma and usually uneven piercings and sometimes infection. It’s just safer to avoid getting it done with the piercing gun lol

Fr tho. My sons dad had to do piercings at Wal-Mart and he HATED IT. people would legit take hours old newborns in to try and get them pierced. He was so uncomfortable.
When I was 16 I got my ears pierced with a gun and never again! I had problems with earrings and after a while I just gave up and now my ears are closed. Next time I'm definitely going with the needle
@denise1493, Claire’s for sure does baby’s ears, and piercing pagoda does as well. I just don’t see the point in piercing such tiny ears. A lot of parents do it because they think it looks “cute”, but in my opinion babies can look cute without ear piercings 🤦🏻♀️
