God, I fucking hate inductions. Why the duck are they still being done! My step sister is so sick after getting an emergency csection following induction 😥 I feel so bad for her. She wanted a natural birth and was terrified to begin with 🙅🚫🔪
You didn't know any better ;/ good thing you're both healthy though. And you learned.@sabreycastro1996
I had an elective induction meaning I could have one if I wanted. I was 40 weeks when I had it done and dilated to 3 in a half BUT I regret it so much and I feel so shitty for not just waiting for her to come when she was ready.
@morgyporgypudninpie, I do but she wants a set date so she “doesn’t miss work”
My family sucks.
That's great it worked for you. Thank god. I'll forever be a non supporter of it though @reddroses14
I loved my doctor, he did whatever us as the patients requested and explained why it's best to wait it out before considering getting induced. He did have to convince me though to wait until my 39th week lol. At 36 weeks my body was giving up on me so I requested an induction. On my 38th week he scheduled it to be done at 5am on my 39th week. My friend however she went almost 42 weeks and then finally our doc was like OK let's get this baby out. Her induction lasted 2 days and she's a FTM. Mine however only lasted 7 hours, however I not only had contractions from the pitocin I had full on labor contractions. My total labor was 4 hrs with less than 15 minutes of pushing and at that it took only 5 pushes to get Jackson out. Every body is different and may react differently to the meds. I honestly would do it again. I knew someone who did an induction for personal preference. Her doc was going on vacation. Had my doc told me he was leaving I would have scheduled one. I hated and I mean hated the other delivering doc so I told mine that if he wasn't available I sure would push Jackson back in until he was 😂😂
If only l&d had emergency daycare lol... best of luck with it all mama @girlmom.
@kambam, I think it would be different, if I had someone reliable to watch them at anytime.
My doc approved of some teas and those prime-rose pills to take so I’m hoping they will help and I don’t have to be induced..
If you can avoid it, that's best. But its hard when you have kids to take care of. Idk what I'd do in your situation @girlmom.
@kambam
Yes when I told my friend that I was like your doctor is selfish and shouldn't be doing an induction because they're going on vacation 🙄
Now I’m scared! I’ve never been induced before, but I am this time cause I need a set date for someone to watch my girls. 😩
That's awful. Like hey, if you get induced and it works out, that's sooo great! But that's not always the case 😔 I understand needing medical intervention but geeeez @nerdymommyplus2
Most ftm don't know any better. Just makes me so mad that doctors act like induction is mandatory for 40w @theinkedmommy
I actually know someone who was induced because their doctors was going on vacation 🤦
Like no. I was induced the first time not fun, the second time I was 'helped labor" due to not having consistent enough contractions but dilating

Good morning ladies yesterday was was a difficult day was me. I woke up to experiencing extremely heavy bleeding. Called my doctor and went back into her see. When we reached the doctors office my husband alerted staff. They brought a wheel chair out for. I didn't have no cramps just heavy bleeding. Our Rainbow 🌈 miracle 💕 was very active . My doctors tried to stop my heavy bleeding but I was losing to much blood. I was prepped for a Emergency D&C and the actual procedure take around 15-...

Matt's mom wants to stay in our apartment because she's homeless. now let me clarify she's homeless by choice she REFUES to get a job she's been kicked out of shelters because she REFUSES to do anything to get off the streets. she's one that will go fill out a job application get an interview and reject the job because she...

My birth story! (It's long lol) This is my little Uriah. I can't explain how much love I feel looking at his face. The pain was completely worth it. So I was awake after watching a movie with my mom and I decided to get some food and go up to dh. After I ate my water broke because I did squats lmao!!! I did 3 squats and on the third one my water burst, that was at 2:43am, I then went down to tell my mom but didn't have any contractions yet. I got to the hospital around 4:15 and at 5 they came an...
So i need to vent a little bit
So today my sister wants to use the truck to take her boyfriend's mom to the hospital when my fiancee has been bleeding internally for almost a week and i had been trying to get ahold of his doctor since 9am they finally get back to me want him to go for x-rays and if he has the pain in his abdomen to go to the ER. So I take him to the clinic to have x-rays done and was trying to get him to make up his mind on what he wanted to do regarding his abdomen pain. Then ...
@morgyporgypudninpie, She’ll just have to miss work. My other family lives 2+ hours away. The hospital is an hour away. Either that, I have the baby at home and just go to the hospital after I have her by myself. 🤷🏼♀️
