Lyndsie Kathryn·Мама четверых детей

Omg. My 11 year old is super Lazy. I can't believe that by now he doesn't know how to clean his room. I have literally shown him what to do every week since he was 4 and he still can not clean his room with out being hovered over. I mean I understood when he was ages 4-6 but even by age 6 he should have gotten it. I mean every week for 7 years? It's a routine by now and he still can't do it.

Could this be pure lazyness or is something to be genuinely concerned about?

@simplyshantell that's fantastic. Ive been trying to get my 11 year old to do that since he was 4, my 4 year old daughter and 19 month old son have no problems do their part and also offer to help me do my part but my 11 year old. Forget it. I can't get him to do anything.

@beautifulmomof4 My son will be 5 in June and cleans his room when asked. If he takes his toys out he knows he has to put them all back. When he wakes up he makes his bed and also helps me clean (He offers) Lol! I don't make him do any of my cleaning but he's used to the mindset that the house needs to be to a high standard and I think if it isn't he takes notice and helps me because I've taught him since he could comprehend that cleanliness is very important and if it isn't maintained he will have privileges taken, just the same way as when tasks are completed he gets rewarded. He understands at this age. Gotta set them up early for success! Lord knows my husband could have benefited from the same thing growing up but his mom never made him do anything.

Aiden has his own set of chores age appropriate for an 11 year old boy and it's like they don't even matter to him.

My 4 year old can clean her room, no problems too, we just started her on chores and responsibilities, She has to pick up her toys, make her bed, put her dirties in the hamper, help with the dishes(just silverware and pots n pans, no knives), and takes the recycle out, everyday. Aiden on the other hand. OMG. I wish my parents had never gotten the game systems, tablet, he got his own tv one year for Christmas and birthdays. He has literally become a hermit and if it weren't for school he wouldn't ever leave his room!

Religion Conspiracy/Theory

**This is not to bash peoples religion and beliefs but to talk about our own theories and ideas** I would like to discuss a certain topic that came to mind after talking to my SO. I know some of you ladies like a good conspiracy talk so i would like to have a good discussion and hear thoughts of others. So back story my SO friends got very offended when he mentioned not believing in god or religion and it got me thinking. Is religion a failing form of goverment cont...
