How long should you wait to take a bath after having a baby? I had to get stitches from them cutting me. The hospital said wait 6 weeks but I just want to relax and take a bath😩

How long after birth did you wait to take a bath? I was told to wait until 6 weeks because of risk for infection but I'm seeing other friends that are recently postpartum already taking baths. I want a hot bath too dang it!

I would just do what the hospital says. They know what they're talking about.

No matter how relaxing it may be it’s so not worth an infection I’d for sure do what they say and wait

Can you feel the stitches ? My OB said if you can feel them no sex, tampons, or bath. But if you cant feel them anymore your good.

Ahh samr here girl i just want to relax in a hot bath but i had a c section and have stitches too 😭 lol
