For sure! I don't bash anyone who decides to do this for one reason or another but culturally I believe the US especially needs to take a second look I don't blame individual choices but the establishment that led them to those conclusions if that makes sense BTW just finished watching An Elephant in the Hospital on Youtube its 30+ minutes and worth it if you have the time
My baby is uncircumcised Honestly I was on the fence even at the hospital and felt pressured ultimately with the research I found and what was best for my family I found the courage to say no Pediatrician and everything I've read says leave it alone! I have multiple family members who are very pro circumcision My thing is unless you have religious beliefs, why would you cut a part of your baby off? The medical research doesn't really back it up if you actually read the studies themselves and not people saying "Oh, studies show" I'm a nursing student and personally for me cutting off his foreskin would be like cutting the clitoral hood off if I had a daughter That is considered female genital mutilation the foreskin developed for a reason it just doesn't make sense to me (Not bashing anyone that makes this decision just my personal experience and beliefs based on what research and such I have sought out)
My boys aren’t circumcised and cleaning is easy you clean their penis as you would your finger. When they are babies it remains closed not allowing urine and feces to get trapped inside. You never force the skin back. That happens on its own.
