SO confused about pram/stroller situation... how old before baby can go in stroller ? Or how long are they in the pram ?…

not dumb at all hun. We all been there. You have to go and try out the prams out. See what you like. Everyone's different. I have a oyster 2. It can be used from birth and you don't need the cot bed. As the baby can lay flat from birth. Adjust the seat when they ready to sit up. Usually from 6 months. And it can be used up to 3 years old. I've never been a fan of strollers. But there's mothers who don't like travel systems as some can be heavy and bulky. Go in to all the shops Mothercare....John Lewis.....Try them out. You'll find what's right for you xx

We have the wayfarer. The carrycot is good for the first few months (depending on weight and size of baby) then from then on the seat into which can be parent/world facing and lasts until they're around 2ish x

Once baby is able to support their own head properly they are able so sit up in a pushchair/ stroller. Morgan only fitted in his pram for 12weeks then he went in the pushchair mod. He went into a stroller at 7months. Max stayed on his pram 6months. So basically it can depend on their size and development! They don't need a pram as all pushchairs recline but most parents like a pram to start off with.

@natalie2255, that one sounds really good.. but I think going into shops is a better option too looking online I can’t really get an idea of them! Never pushed one in my life either so will go in haha get my L plates on it hahah xx

We got ours second hand Hun. Was only ever the seat unit that was used as she used the car seat a lot. Didn't have £600 for a pram. So got ours for £150. Only downfall to this is its quite bulky but then again all travel systems are. Id deffo recommend getting the same car seat and the adapters xx

I think second hand seem just as good to be honest I don’t have a great amount to spend on it either maybe £300 at most but if I can get one cheaper even better! I’ll have to definitely have a good look around all the shops and try some out ha thanks Hun xx

Yeah I recently joined those groups on Facebook they seem to have quite a lot of bits and bobs on there and sometimes the odd pram will pop up ha xxx
