why does pumping hurt so bad 😫

It should not hurt. Do you have a clogged duct? Try a warm compress or a shower. Any redness or soreness of the breasts? The only time it hurt for me was when I got engorged and my son had a hard time emptying the breast. I ended up with mastitis. 😢
