Okay moms, If your child is coughing(asthma)and have a lil runny clear nose do you send your child to daycare when you have to pay regardless and miss work? Need opinions.
@embracemthrhd2 the teacher did say she started coughing alot after the playing outside .Her asthma probably bothering her but all i can do is give her treatments and the cough will not go away for awhile
@shellbell0391 Exactly she has light runny nose often and she has to take treatments for wheezing when the weather changes she has no fever but ill probably send her tomorrow ill cut my day short at work if need to be
If he is wheezing keep him home.... But my son has allergies and exercise induced asthma... So it took a while to get it under control. I had to send him otherwise he would have missed too much school... Found out he was allergic to grass and dust so once I told the school to keep him indoors for recess and told him to pay attention to his breathing during gym he has been doing a lot better.
Same with vomiting and diarrhea... 24 hrs. If it’s a bad cough and he’s visibly uncomfortable I’d keep him home but if he’s still happy and playful I’d send him
I send my son to daycare if he’s got a cold. They’ve all always got runny noses and coughs. If I kept him home every time he had a runny nose or cough he’d be at daycare maybe a week out of the month lol. The rule is that they can go to daycare if they are fever free without meds for 24 hrs
