I know what you mean. Lol. My bf’s Porsche does this. It scared me to death the first time it happened. 😂🤣

@lulu85_18 the guy who sold us the car VERY briefly mentioned it, but didn't say WHEN it happened. I picked up my son from his dad's, stopped at a red light and it cut off. I almost threw up. I was like "IT STALLED HOW DOES A BRAND NEW CAR STALL???" trying to press the start button and shit. I took my foot off the brake and it came back to life. I was like "OHHHH that's what the dude was trying to tell me." TOTALLY not worth the drop or 2 of gas it saves 😂😂

@worlds.okayest.mom, yeah, I have no clue how much it actually saves because his is terrible on gas mileage anyway. We are about to trade it for a cheaper crossover or SUV. I believe you can turn the feature off... just not sure how. 🤔 lol.

@lulu85_18 I can imagine with a Porsche 😂. We took the plunge to a minivan so lost a good 10 MPG, but the extra space is SO worth it. I know how to turn it off for that one drive, but once I turn the car off and back on, it defaults back to it. I'm sure I could have Googled it in the 45 minutes I just sat in the schools pick up line, but instead I'll just whine 😂

I actually hate that feature. It’s so annoying. But on some cars there’s an option to turn that off

@kae.t yeah theres a button, but it only turns it off for that one trip. I'm hoping I can permanently disable it. It's so stupid. Especially at stop signs, it shuts off exactly when I need to go.

@worlds.okayest.mom, yeah. I’m very much over his tiny car. I love how fast it goes. He does racing too on the side at some of the tracks here in FL, but I haven’t gone with him lately since I’m preggo. I told him he can always get a new one later. This was his first car, saved up with his own money, and I get the sentimental value - but if I have to crouch down one more time with this baby bump of mine... I’m gonna lose it. Lol. I have an inexpensive Mazda. It’s great on gas and works just fine. Lol. We just need something bigger. I think I need to have the minivan talk with him. We travel a lot and could use the space.

What did you end up getting?

@lulu85_18 I totally understand. My husband had a Z when I was pregnant with my daughter. It was a nightmare. We got a Chrystler Pacifica.

@damn.it.red I do too!!! I cried when we traded in my Kia though. It was "our" first car and the car we brought our daughter home in. You know, normal reasons to cry when you're pregnant.
