This is a bit of a personal question but I've got no one else to ask and not really sure how this all works...passed my test the other day and looking for a car (needs to be automatic cause of my leg) but because of my only income being the money I get for Alex and my leg I'm not likely to get finance on a car. Is anyone in a similar situation and managed to get a car or got any tips or websites etc that could help me? Thanks in advance!
@erincharlie1226 I get DLA (now called PIP) but not the highest rate that I would need to be entitled to a car haha! Had an operation back in 2012 and they messed up my whole leg so can't work cause of that as I spend the majority of my time on crutches. My mum's friend got her car from a local garage and it's £25 a week so I'm waiting for a call back from them about their automatic cars xx
@stephyb95 oh that's good though hope they help fingers crossed xx
@stephyb95 that's not good u should be on esa or disability xx
@erincharlie1226 haven't worked since 2015 cause of my leg so I'm medically unable to :/ think I've figured something out but waiting for a call back so fingers crossed haha!xx
@stephyb95 can you work hun are you on benefits ? If u work 20 hours u would afford a decent car xx
@erincharlie1226 my family has bad experience with cheap runarounds so I'm a bit wary....my brother bought one for £1000 and had to spend £3000+ to get it fixed back in October😂xx
There are plenty of cheap run arounds look on gumtree xx
Save up an buy a little car you can get cars for around £200 now a days won't be the best an probably have a lot of miles on it but it's a car x @stephyb95
@jo.wilcox yeah I'm not entitled to a DLA car as I don't receive the highest payment xx
You say about your leg meaning you need an automatic.. do you get any form of disability living allowance? As I know certain DLA payments entitle you to a car through disability. The only thing you pay towards it is fuel, the government cover everything else. You’d have to look into it thoughas I’m not sure what the threshold is or what kind of disability payments you need to be entitled to it x
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
@stephyb95 That's mad can't you call PIP and go through your options you should be getting high rate mobility? And low rate the other thing lol. Hope it gets sorted that sounds good to suit your needs xx
