Your kids won't have the flu if you dress them properly and keep them in the house for all the dummies out there please make sure they have under garments on undershirt long johns tights socks and then put their normal clothes over it nice thick jackets and if needed a hat an gloves kids start showing signs of being sick don't give them a bath give them bird baths until it clears up keep them damn socks on they feet when they walking around the house so what if they don't like them teach your kids how to wash there hands PROPERLY an teach them if they see kids coughing and sneezing stay away because you don't wanna get sick....all these kids just died of the flu WTF my kids never ever had a flu shot an I've maybe had 2 in my whole 21 years of living I've never ever had the flu it's all base on your immune system but now there's an epidemic of the flu AND CHILDREN ARE DYING FROM THE FLU 😑😐😧😨😩 Please protect our children and dress them accordingly this flu season aint no joke

They said that it is carried through the air and lingers for like 10secs. So if someone coughs or sneezes in your general area you can catch it. It has little to do with wardrobe or bathing. So unless you are going to wear a mask everywhere..... it’s bound to happen.
Certain pathogens just thrive better in colder weather which is why flu and colds and RSV are more common in winter months. Best way to avoid getting sick is to hand wash, hand sanitizer, cover your mouth when sneezing/coughing, and avoid direct contact with others when sick to avoid spreading the germs. I wipe all counters and door knobs in my home down with Clorox wipes. I also vaccinate to help curb the viciousness of the flu even if it is caught.
Keeping kids clothed warmly has nothing to do with getting sick, it's just common sense to keep them warm when it's cold.

@proudmommyoftwo_ I actually don't have any certifications I wanted to because I thought that working with the elderly was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. But I've kind of had a change in career choice. I've always just been a home health aide. But I think I want to go to school to become a speech therapist.

@proudmommyoftwo_ that's good. My SO gets sick very easily. His dad came over for Christmas and he had a little cold and the next day my SO was really sick. If he goes near anything that's going to get him sick he's going to get sick. I think I have an immune system made of steel!! 34 years old and I've only ever been sick 3 times my whole life.

The kid o watch was just diagnosed . Too late to disinfect since it's contagious a day before symptoms show. So I'm just praying my girls got good hand washing skills. I've never caught the flu ever.

@nerdymommyplus2 Yeah it comes from being around people who already got it and dont know it as well i was watching the news and the numbers are just climbing of people who are dying thats why i try to encourage people to bundle up if you got to be outside man this flu is serious 😭😭
But I do try to dress warm and ive had the flu junk for at least 2 weeks...

It really don't. The flu and cold are during the winter months because you're inside more and around germs and bacteria. During spring and summer you're outside a lot more so you're not in proximity of those germs all the time.

@momboo Girl i opted out of it my kids doctor keep pressing the issue about that damn flu shot like no we good over here its alot of side effects that come with that flu shot. Im not knocking it though or anyone who does get a flu shot every year but me personally we good on it. The horror stories i done heard about it is enough for me 😂😂

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing.
