@bunnydovexo same 😣 last night they gave me the second shot at midnight and I was sleeping until she was right up on my thigh sticking me...i was like "I'm awake!!!" Lmao

Had to get so many steroid shots with my kids because they wanted to come out so early lol hurts like hell 😣

@crystal.newman thats so annoying to me...i believe every good mom does her best to keep baby AND herself happy and healthy...the rest is out of our control! Doctors shouldn't try to make us feel bad...i LOST weight my first trimester and then gain 7 pounds in 2 weeks and they freaked out! I'm like bitch please...now I'm the weight I should be!

@babymomma2018, my OB had so many issues with my weight first time around but this time I just keep losing weight and she got issues with that too. So imma do me. Lol

@babymomma2018, yeah I dealt with my handful of bitchy nurses. My doctor thought it was super crazy too that not only did I go into preterm labor not once but 3 times. She blamed it on my weight I think. Because I was considered “obese” according to doctors standards. I was 184 and 5’4” and I’m suppose to be like 140 according to the chart thingy.

That's why the doctors thought it was strange bc guess it's not super common to into labor early with your first baby...guess they normally tend to cook longer than expected lol. But my man will definitely take care of me...its his off day so I won't even have to ask...he'll just be so sweet and offer 🤗

And that is too crazy that we went thru the same thing!! The magnesium was no fun either!!! The nurse that gave it to me was a lil bitchy and said that I would feel so crappy that imma get bitchy with my bf and sister who were with me (I don't get bitchy lol) but she wouldn't let me pee so I got bitchy with HER!! Lol

@babymomma2018, when you get home I would have your bae take care of you for a little bit. Make you some food. Let you sleep on him or something. It’s important you rest right now. I think it’s funny that what happened to you is exactly what happened to me. Like the whole shebang. I didn’t realize you were first time mom. I figured it was your second or so because a lot of moms don’t post they have other kiddos and I don’t read a lot of profiles because a lot of moms don’t put any bio and you was dealing with false labor. I was in pain and dilated the 3 cm. I got all the needles the magnesium the shots all of it. Really we had the exact same experience just different areas and yes I was 19 as well. I turn 21 this year

@babymomma2018, my doc immediately put me on partial bed rest and pelvic rest meaning I could get up go eat shower potty and nothing in the vagina. Not a finger not a toy not a damn thing because I had a shortened dilated cervix and it was not safe to continue those activities. I still ended up going into preterm labor again around 33 weeks. Luckily my ex husband didn’t like my fat self so we didn’t have sex anyway but the hormone in sperm is called prostaglandins and they soften and ripen the cervix and when YOU orgasm you release oxytocin which also causes contractions. Pitocin is a man made version of oxytocin and that’s what women are induced with. If you want your baby to cook a little longer I would take every precaution. Because Melody stayed so long in me she came out with no complications and didn’t even have any kind of jaundice. She was sooooooo healthy. I got to spend time with her for an hour or so before they even took her to get blood drawn and stuff.

@babymomma2018, your Doctor is a bit of an idiot. I’m sorry. If you have sex 1. Don’t let the bae beat up your cervix. Its sensitive and you are dilated. So your cervix will not close back up and there’s a risk of him breaking your water if you dilate anymore and 2. Don’t let him finish in you. Because the stuff in his sperm will make you have contractions. The word starts with a P I can’t remember it but it’s the stuff that makes you contract that’s in his sperm. 3. You can work out but take it super easy. Right now you’re high risk. And there is a decent chance you could be going right back if you continue these activities.

I was so scared...i went to my hospital but they transferred me to Chicago cuz if he did come he would be safer at this hospital bc of how small he'd be...but the doctor assured me he would survive so my naive ass was like ok...then let him come damnit! Lol then I watched videos of babies born at 30 weeks and I would have been scared to hold him he would have been so tiny and fragile! I'm hoping to get discharged in a few hours but doc said bed rest isn't necessary and hasn't given me the list of things not to do...like I've been exercising alot and started contracting RIGHT after sex so I was like...too scared to do those things anymore.....

@babymomma2018, well yeah because pregnancy sucks but girl he would be so tiny and have complications they would just keep him in the NICU so you probably wouldn’t of even been able to hold him for a while. You’ll feel better that he comes out later. My daughter tried to come 3 times early and then she brewed til almost 42 weeks but doctor induced me at 41w6d. Are you home yet? Have they said anything about potential bed rest?

@babymomma2018, it’s suppose to go in the hips apparently but feels like it’s going in the butt. The 2nd time you got it is how I got it both times and the left just hurt way worse. I was sore for a while. But be happy your baby’s lungs are super badass now.

@crystal.newman the first time they gave it to me on the left leg on the side of my thigh but the next time they put it on the side of my butt...both hurt so bad and it lasts for like 20 minutes! I'm all bruised now

Yeah they burn. I hated it. It felt better in my right side then it did my left.
