Has anyone been diagnosed with preeclampsia without having swelling as a symptom?

@prisah01 I have not been diagnosed but I've been showing symptoms and no one seems to take me seriously. Partly because I've had no swelling. But I have high blood pressure, persistent headaches, sudden weight gain late in pregnancy, and rib pain on the right side. I'm sick of no one taking me seriously. They won't even take blood they keep shoving it off as normal pregnancy stuff

@maxx, Go to the ER hospital immendently no joke i was 8 months couldnt breathe right the dumb obgyn i had didnt even catch it.. i knew something was wrong n had my mom take me in sure enough i was diagnosed i didnt even know what it was they said we are gonna deliver ur baby at this time it was my furst and i was 16 and 8 months preg not even ready yet and they did an emergency c section and my daughter was born at 4 pounds u could die and have sezuires so the preg was making me sick ever since then i get it every pregnancy u know ur body better then anyone!

@prisah01 I'm actually at the ER currently and irritated cause they're saying they're gonna send me home with some pregnancy safe pain meds. It's making me so mad That I can't be taken seriously. I love my OB but every time I call wirh a problem they give me some "take a shower and some Tylenol" bullshit and never let me talk to my actual doctor. I don't know how to make them take me seriously.

@maxx, its bc your young i had to put my food dwn and demand that i know skmething wrong and i would like to be tested

long story short ny daughter almost died bc they kept saying nothing was wrong over and over i kept coming bk to hospital everyday intill finally they listend bc she wasnt breathing and she had to go to childrens hospital by helicopter

@prisah01 I am awful and being confrontational even when I need to be. Another problem I have. Right now my only option seems to be tok wait till Tuesday and tell my doctor.
