@blessedwithtwo, yea I was on the shot for 2 years & collectively I didn't bleed for about 2-3 weeks work of days. & I know 3 people who were on the IUD and still got pregnant . One had major birth defects ,

@lulu85_18, yea condoms I think are going to be the best friend . I know my fiancé won't agree to the extreme that I'm comfortable with which is abstinence ...so condoms it is

@lulu85_18, what's the rhythm method? And I've never used ovulation sticks. Are they pretty accurate?

I plan to use the rhythm method. I never want to go back to birth control pills. You can get ovulation sticks to show when you’re fertile than just use a condom or other backup method (spermicide) on those days.

I haven’t been on BC since I was 19 👍🏻 it’s now linked to breast cancer also. I chose condoms and never had an issue 😁
