thoughts on opening gifts AT the shower?

Open them there! We played a neat little game at my shower when it was time to open gifts...the game was bingo everyone was given a blank bingo board and had to write in each box what they think I got. It was played like the usual bingo game four down, four across. As my husband and I opened the gifts people marked the item off in the box they had it in. before I knew it like 3 people jumped up at once yelling BINGO!! 😂😂😂I didn't even know a game was being played no wonder they were so eager to see what I had lol it made it fun for everybody instead of just sitting there watching me open gifts

I've never heard of not opening up the baby shower presents at the baby shower. Like never.

I refused to open mine. To me it feels like showing off and I’m not into that personally. I don’t intend on doing it for my sons birthday either.

Omg I didn’t open mine at my baby shower but that’s because I get WICKED nervous with everyone staring at me and waiting for my reaction lol I regret it though because i know people wanted recognition

apparently the new thing is to not open them. some people don’t like to sit there and watch that for hours
