Question ladies! So when I was in hospital they gave me the steroid shot to help develop her lungs. At my midwife appointment she told me that the shot technically makes the baby “farther along” than I am. Do you ladies think that means she will be “ready” to come out earlier? I know with the extra fluid she could come early too but just curious about that shot!

My doctor also recommended me getting the flu shot while pregnant ? I'm not sure if I want to or if i should ? It's all scary to me !! What do you ladies think ? Did you get the flu shot while pregnant ? Are there any risks? Or should I wait ? I'm so scared of taking anything while pregnant , much less getting this shot.. He said it isn't mandatory , just recommended.

I can't believe it My cousin stayed with me rent free from September 2015 to April 2016 and her stuff is still in my apartment. She's been saying she was going to come get her stuff for months. She text me this morning saying that she was going to come and get her stuff soon, and I asked her if I could have her air mattress. She tried to charge me $60 for it. The air mattress sells new for $35 on amazon and she didn't even pay $60 for it. I didn't respond and she just text me saying the $60 was for a microwave she bought me and her air mattress. When she got the microwave, it was a gift. Then when my son was in the hospital from October to January out of town, I was going to get my internet service turned off until I returned home. My cousin was doing school work online, so I paid for it while I was away so she could use it. I'm trying to figure out a response to her. ?
What’s the most embarrassing thing that happened to you ladies during labor!? With both boys I pooped, but with Eliana I peed everywhere!!! I thought my water broke and the lady kept say no hunny you’re just peeing I said but it doesn’t even feel like pee it just keeps coming.... she said I can check you and see but I believe it’s just pee! She checked me and my water bag was bulging but hadn’t broke.... oddly enough I found that more embarrassing then pooping and I cried because I was so embarrassed 🤦🏻 ♀ 😂

I had the steroid shot with both of my babies. It just decreases the chances of your baby needing help breathing or needing oxygen if they need to come before they are full term. It doesn’t necessarily make them ready sooner, every bit of time they can get in the womb is very important.
