By 15 months it will be hard but can be done some kids do it on their own

For my older niece, at night we started giving her water in her bottle and she didn’t want it anymore because of that. She was about 1.

For my other niece, I replaced her bottle with one of those nuk silicone tip cups and she thought it was a bottle so she was fine. Eventually I could just give her any kind of sippy cup and she was fine. She was about 1 and a half.

Yeah a cup with a soft nipple the hard nipple eventually but take it away slowly for about a week

@scidg3, it didn’t leak until she chewed on it!

We used the sippies that mimics the bottle then eventually moved to the 360 cup.. I tried here and there but the night before he turned one we cut it out completely and didn’t look back.

I just have a soft sippy cup nipple on my daughters cup. I don’t use plastic because she’s teething really bad and the plastic doesn’t feel good to her.

My son has used a sippy cup of water with meals since 6 months, but still drinks formula from his bottle. 😬 we will be trying to transition as soon as we can get him off this formula.

Mine stop at 6 months cold turkey by himself I used the nuk soft nipple pictured above for a few months and when he was 12m he drinks out of whatever cup I give him #gotLuckywithhim

@mimimommyof2, I know, that’s what my mom says he’ll eventually stop on his own. I just wanted to start now so he and my newborn won’t both be on bottles when she’s born

@ccancilla3, yeah I’ve been trying for a week idk what else to do besides just give him a bottle cause he wouldn’t stop crying

@rogue, we slowly stopped the formula but that was isn’t before he was one we tried whole milk and he spit it up

@kiaraherbert24, yes it was very easy with my daughter to wean her from a bottle but that was 11 years ago lol
