When did you find out the baby's gender?: 17 weeks

Were you excited about the gender or disappointed (be honest!)??: I was so excited, my husband on the other hand not so much

What did you crave?: hash browns with ketchup 24/7

Did you exercise during your pregnancy??: not really...I did go for walks if that counts

How much weight did you gain (again, be honest!)??: none I actually lost about 10lbs

Any morning sickness?: I was nauseous my whole 1st trimester

Do you like maternity clothes??: all of my clothes were pretty damn comfortable.

What books did you read about pregnancy??: what to expect when expecting.

Did you attend birthing classes?: nope

How was your pregnancy overall?: pretty good

ABOUT THE DELIVERY

How did you know you were in labor?: My water broke but I was having contractions for about 2 days

Did your water break??: yupp, while I was at work.

What were the contractions like??: extreme period cramps. I could only feel my contractions in my hips, so I was constantly swaying back and forth while in labor.

How long were you in labor??: from the time my water broke it was just shy of 26hrs.

Did you have an epidural???: HELL YES!

Who was in the delivery room with you??: my hubby, my mom, my MIL and a lot of nurses and my dr. I had my daughter during shift change so I had the daytime nurse and the night time nurses in my room.

Was it an easy delivery??: yes

Did you cry during labor???: yes because I was in so much pain but I couldn't move. I had issues with my epidural until they finally got to right.

First thing you said to your baby? OMG YOUR FINALLY HERE!!!!

Who visited you at the hospital?: my family and some of his. I had a very strict rule about people visiting me in the hospital.

Did you breastfeed?: yupp for 2 months. Had to stop because I went back to work.

What was the first night of being a parent like?: exhausting!!!!

Did you get any sleep?: I was in the hospital for Almost 5 days and I think I got maybe a total of 10 hrs of sleep!

When did you go home?: 3 days after she was born.....stupid jaundice!

PRESENT DAY

How old is your baby now?: she will be 9 months old on the 15th 😭😭😭😭

Are you and the father still together??: happily married 💏

Who does your baby most resemble??: she looks just like me but acts just like my husband! All I have to say is lord help me! Lol

Baby's latest milestone reached??: She pulling up on everything and cruising. She has also started walking with her push behind walker.

Baby's favorite thing to do??: pull up on everything, eat, and play with her toys

Baby's favorite toy?: she has a few but right now it's her teething hand

What is it like being a parent?: Holy shit it is exhausting, but totally worth it. Nothing beats picking my daughter up and her smiling at me saying mama.....it melts my heart everytime. 😍😍😍😍😍😍

Are you ready for another one?: currently pregnant with baby #2, we are hoping it's it's a boy!
