With number one I wasn't feeling to good. Went in to the doctor she told me and I called him crying from excitement. With the second i had just finished testing. He called from work complaining about his day being horrible. So I told him to make his day better.

Our first he told me i needed to take a test bec i was acting "off" so he knew before i even thought about it! He was working outta town so i video chatted him and told him it was a + :)

Our second (current pregnancy) i looked at him and told him i think im pregnant again. So we tested it was a + and we freaked out this time! Lol

We ttc for 8 years and I never got pregnant, so we assumed that it was never going to happen.

We were going out for dinner because it was our anniversary.

I was one day late, and I'm super regular, so I took the test (I was expecting no pregnant; I was thinking more along the lines of something wrong in there).

I got a strong positive. I run out of the bathroom, found him and told him, crying.

We stared at the test for a good 15 minutes thinking it was something wrong with it.

I took 3 more tests and all positive.

We went for dinner and he kept repeating wow, wow, you're pregnant. WOW.

We were surprised, we didn't expect it.

Told him I was testing and showed him the test. It was extremely faint so I said "do you see a second line?" He said, "yup" (he didn't see one he just said it sort of passively).. I looked closer and was like omg I think actually there IS?! He looked again and was like "what?!" ..we were in disbelief since it was so faint you almost couldn't tell.. Then he picked me up, swing me around and we kissed ha! And now I am coming up on 35 weeks! ?

I texted him and he didn't believe me ?

with my first pregnancy (which we were TTC) i showed him the home pregnancy test before he went to work & then called him from the doctors later.

It was our anniversary weekend. I took the test and it said pregnant.

So I ran to the hotel bed where he was laying and basically shoved it into his face.

I found out 3 weeks before Father's Day this year. So I got him a shirt that said "I can't keep calm, my wife's pregnant" (he's a huge chive fan) and wrapped it up with my test and gave it to him for Father's Day. That was the hardest secret I ever had to keep!

I found a nightmare before Christmas sleeper on Etsy. That says "daddys little nightmare coming soon" and I think I'm going to put it in a box and surprise him with it ?

Doc forgot to check the test a the office, so they called. And all I said was 'well, f*** ". All he could say was 'super sperm' since it was our first try after a mc....

We were ttc every time, so he was always there when I took the test. He wouldn't have it any other way.

I texted him a picture of the test right after I found out. I had lashed out at him about something really stupid right before he left for work. I then started feeling guilty and weepy. I texted my husband to apologize and tell him that I loved him. I still couldn't shake my tears which is very odd for me because I am not a crier. I had a small stash of hpts so I decided to just take one even though I was only 8dpo and not experiencing any symptoms whatsoever. Shortly after appeared 2 obviously positive lines. I texted my husband again and told him that "I'm sorry and this is no excuse but I think this is why I acted the way that I did this morning" and I included pic of my positive hpt.

I sent a picture of all three faint positives and a text. His response was, "what does that mean?" So I sent the description on the box of pregnancy tests with one line being negative and two being pregnant. I than called him as I was a nervous wreck and told him it means I'm pregnant. I tested continuously afterwards though because I was still in denial until I confirmed it with first response. I'm now 21 weeks tomorrow and we are definitely excited. ☺️

He was in the bathroom with me when I took it so we both found out at the same time.

With my first he was right next to me and with my second it was his 30th birthday and I surprised him and told him he will have his 2 kids at the age of 30.

The day I found out I wrapped two pregnancy tests in tissue paper, put them in small gift bag and made a card that says "roses are red, violets are blue, I have a secret and here is the clue..." He opened the bag when he got home from work and was ecstatic! ?

With my first he was there when I took the test so he knew as soon as I did. With my second I waited for a while and did something special. However we had a miscarriage. The third one I also just told him. It's just as fun as doing something special. If not more fun since he is truly not expecting it ?

I called him on the phone. He was at college 6 hours away and I didn't know how else to tell him. Thought about just sending a picture of the tests to him via message but thought it was a little more serious than that.

The second one, I snuck some tests into the bathroom when I got home from work and took a "shower" while I waited for the test results. They were instantly positive and I just handed him the tests and said "so...I'm pregnant" and he just hugged me and said everything would be fine. ❤️

I had to stop my birth control about 6 months prior due to medical reasons and my periods wern't regular yet so I was taking a test every month or two after I was "late" sure enough one morning I took it and before I even put it on the sink I saw the second line pop up. I walked back into the bedroom and told him to go look at it in 3 minutes. Needless to say we were both happy even though he was a little upset I made him wait 3 minutes when I already knew ??

I went to the clinic because of stomach pains in the morning. We wanted to get pregnant so he told me to go and see if I was and if the stomach pains meant I was pregnant. I went alone and when I found out I was, I bought little baby socks to surprise him. I got home and he said so???? And I said no nothing but with the most red and giggliest face, he's like stop lying I'm like whattttt I'm not and I just couldn't stop smiling like an idiot then I pulled out the baby socks and he started crying. ?

We have been married for 5 years. My husband had testicular cancer in his early 20s and we truly believed having kids was impossible (much as we wanted them). I had been pretty sick after a vacation we took. When my husband jokingly asked me how long it had been since my last period, I realized it was a couple weeks over due, along with extreme morning sickness. Anyway, I secretly bought a test and took it while my husband was in the next room. When I saw the faint positive, I started crying and screaming. He ran in and saw the test... We both cried together. I'm now 36 weeks!

Both times I told him I suspected being pregnant before even knowing for sure. They were both unplanned pregnancies though. Once I received the positives, I came out of the bathroom and told him.

I was a day late (which rarely happened since I was on the pill), so I took a test while he was at work. It came back SUPER positive.

I called him crying, freaking out.

He told me it was okay, that he was happy, and was totally calm. I asked if I could come have lunch with him. We ate Whataburger while I tried not to cry, and he smiled the whole time with tears in his eyes.

With our first I poas and slammed the bfp down on his desk. Haha The second I had an IUD in place and as soon as I saw the + I was sure the baby wouldn't be able to survive so I texted him "It's positive ?". This last one I finally did right! Lol I printed out a note that said "Hi Dad! I can't wait to meet you! 12/18/16" and put the digital pregnancy test in my bracelet jewelry box. I put it in a gift bag and was waiting for him to come home from work. I set up a camera and get his reaction, even put our youngest in a shirt that said "Big Sister". He was surprised and very excited! ?

We had just moved into my parent's house because the call center we worked at has closed and I was late, but assumed it was stress from the move but I knew I'd stress more unless I saw a negative.

It was not negative. It was a very faint positive. So I carried it to the living room where he was at crying and showed him the test. He didn't believe it cause it was so faint so I tested 2 more times until he believed me. It was not a happy day ?

It was thanksgiving last year (Canadian thanksgiving) I had a feeling I was pregnant - we were trying. We were at my moms for dinner and picked up a test on the way over. I snuck into the bathroom with it and sure enough it was positive instantly! I text him from the washroom that it was positive... haha. I wanted to tell my mom later on so we kept it hush at dinner.

ETA: with my twins it was an oops pregnancy. I had spotting early on so I mistook it for my period.. period didn't come the next month so I tested and it was an oh fack moment. Then when I went for an ultrasound to date my pregnancy (because I didn't know when I would've conceived because of the spotting) it was a double Fack moment. ? we were very soon after thrilled to be having twins though ❤️❤️
