I know miscarriages are painful but I was wondering if anyone ever had a molar pregnancy and can tell me if my miscarriage sounds like one? I got pregnant last December and miscarried in February. I remember right before i found out I was pregnant my pregnancy symptoms were insane. I was a super bitch compared to my first pregnancy and my current one. I never got nauseaous but my do is aversion was really weird. I couldn't eat anything cause everything tasted condensed. Like the effect you would have eating koolaid powder and expecting it to take like the prepared beverage but wirh literally everything I ate or drank. Everything was too much even bland things. About 3 weeks after I found out I was pregnant all my symptoms completely disappeared like I wasn't even pregnant anymore. No symptoms at all whatsoever. When I went in for my appointment the baby was measuring 7 weeks and 5 days and had no heartbeat. I was supposed to be 10 weeks at that point. They gave me the medicine to make my body pass everything but told me not to start it until 2 days later. The next day I started spotting meaning that my body was trying to pass it on its own but I took the medicine anyway when I was told to. I never got any pain during my miscarriage. I took one pain pill but only as a precaution and by the time i passed everything it had warn off. When I did pass everything it all came out pretty much all at once. A big piece of fleshy substance came out with the baby in the sack attached to it. I can only assume the fleshy part was the placenta but it was huge. Like the size of hand while the baby was barely the size of my thumb nail. I just recently thought that this. Could have been a molar pregnancy after I read someone else's story and decided to look it up. What I read says there are two things th ay cause a molar pregnancy and one of them is when 2 sperm fertilize one egg and it causes the placenta to grow much more rapidly than the embryo. I have no idea if this is what happened but I also read that women are told they need to be cleared before they try to get pregnant again which I was never told and I am pregnant now. Should I mention it to my doctor?
