My MIL is an ER nurse. She said they are more effective given at the same time and it is fine. But that Tylenol is more dangerous than Motrin

When my oldest was that age i only gave him Motrin but now that he is 3 i alternate it. But with my youngest who is 18 months i only give him Motrin.

Personally I would alternate. That's what I have always done for a high fever. Not a doctor just my opinion

I have always alternated every 3 hours when my son had fevers. Never heard of giving it at the same time.

I looked it up and it says that taking them together makes them work more effectively. I would do a smaller dose and see how it goes. No blankets, that will raise her temperature even more.

I would use a humidifier with eucalyptus and tea tree essential oils.
