Thank God for insurance. 🙌🏼 I knew having a baby was expensive but not this expensive.

The bill I got for my daughter on the NICU 23 days was almost 300k. We paid 1500 (our deductible for both of us). Insurance is a blessing!

It’s so crazy ! Here in the uk we have the NHS and we don’t have to pay for any health care , do you even have to pay to see a doctor at your local surgery?

Eek. Our total charges were around $80k, but I had a c-section. Then his outpatient surgery was billed at $40k. It is absolutely insane how much they charge for things. I understand why people without insurance avoid doctors or hospitals.

@mommytoluca, we're now on my husband's insurance. Just my growth ultrasounds are 650 each for us to pay. I fear what the total is. I work part time now. I had insurance through the city then since I worked in a school system. That was an absolute blessing

@katymoore993, yep,you literally have to pay for anything you do when it involves medical. 🤦🏼‍♀️
