God damn three bedroom apartments are expensive around here. $1,700+

We’re looking for a 3 bedroom in the Miami area & the cheapest we can find in a decent area is $2100 not including any utilities 😭

Our 2 bedroom apartment is costing us $1900/ month. We’re closing on our house in the beginning of next month & I can’t wait!!!

@lovelily, Exactly. We live in the suburbs of ATL and we only pay a bit more than 1200 for our 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath home in an upscale neighborhood. I know some places in GA are a tad more expensive but overall its a lot cheaper than many other states.

We lucked out, ours is $1200, trying to buy a house at this point.

What that is good ! In California that’s easily over 2,300

We used to pay 2200 for a two bed/two bathroom “vintage” remodeled condo in Chicago. We wanted a house in the same neighborhood but they went for 1 million. We ended up in the suburbs and paid 500k for our cozy 3 bd/2ba home. Lol.

I live in the Bay Area (Fremont) and the cost of living here is insane but there are a lot of job opportunities out here. We live in a 4 bedroom/3 bathroom house in a gated community $5500+ not including HOA and utilities and so on. Apartments range from $2500-$3500 depending where you are in the Bay Area. 😓

@kellynicole, of course! High overhead means higher pay,depending on what you do. My job starts their new employees at $20/hr but it’s still expensive asf for no damn reason!

Omg. Our mortgage for a 4 bedroom 2.5 bath in an upscale community is just $1200 a month. When we had an apartment, it was 3 bedroom for $800 in a gated community. But this is the armpit of Georgia so no one wants to live here anyway.

I’m in a tiny two bedroom house for $1800 a month, not including utilities. And that’s cheap where I live, everyone is shocked I even got a house for that price.
