Mommies I have a question who is dealing with their toddler hitting and how are you getting them to stop..the reason why I'm asking is because my 2 year old is starting to hit me when she get mad at me
I hit my daughters hand obviously not hard, but enough so she knows you don't hit mama. She's a year 4 months and she's already testing me seeing how far she can get.. I believe in the spanking method. It's not for everyone, not judging mama you do what ever works for you.
My son is currently doing this except he hits himself my father in law said to hold his hands and talk to him and tell him there is no need to hit himself it’s day one of use starting it and we have had fewer incidents than yesterday
Time out, now learned to say sorry since he’s scared of time out
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

❤️Getting to know you❤️
Since our May group is growing strong and we have a lot of new mommies joining and sharing their bfp's...Thought it will be fun to get to know each other as we all share our pregnancy journey!
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.

So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
I have a few things. They escalate from her reaction.
1. I tell her “Mommy isn’t hitting you, you are being mean! Please stop.”
2. I give her a warning, “You are going to get a spanking if you don’t stop.”
3. She has gotten two warnings, she gets a spanking and I say “see how it feels? It wasn’t nice to be hit was it?”
I did the same when my nephew was biting. He didn’t stop, so I bit him, he never bit me again. My toddler doesn’t hit any more, but she has gotten into the habit of throwing things, since I don’t want to throw things back at her, she gets basically the above warning then a spanking. Especially since the last time she threw a toy at me it hit my upper thigh and barely missed my pregnant belly. She got a spanking and sent to her room, a few minutes later she came out and had this to say; “Sorry I threw my toy at you mommy, I won’t do it again. It was mean. I love you.” I was a very happy mommy at this point.
Mine daughter 3.5 y.o. So she has more of an understanding of cause and effect, and a wide vocabulary. So keep warnings and punishments short, time out should last 1 minute for every Year of the child’s age. 3 y.o.= 3 minutes in time out. I took child development psychology in college and I am the last of 8 siblings to have kids, I’ve had lots of practice with punishments...
Hope this helps!
