So if you guys follow me at all... you know dex is terrible at sleeping. 😩 we transitioned him to a toddler bed. He does fine at first. But once he wakes up we ALWAYS have to bring him to bed with us. Which I have tried to avoid since he was little. Any mamas have any tips? Or sleep training advice when your child is in bed instead of crib? I’m so desperate. I need a full nights rest before I lose my mind. 😩😩😩
It’s still possible to get a full nights rest if you’re a mom lol especially if you only have one kid. Do you have any light or noise on in his room when he goes to bed? I know with Jayden he has to be in the room in complete silence and dark in order to sleep through the night. & have you tried letting him cry it out if he wakes in the middle of the night? (Unless he’s crying bc something is wrong of course)
U a mom...we rarely get full night og sleep.....especially it u having more kids..kiss goodbye to 7days a week of full sleep.....u might get 4 days but dont look out for it. I got five kids 😰😒
Girl, you'll never sleep a full night again. lol my kids are 13 and 16 plus the baby and I still check on my older ones through the night. There's always needing a drink, use the bathroom, hungry, bad dreams, etc. my son kept me up all night last night from a bad dream and hearing things, he's 13! 😜
When I sleep trained my son I took out everything but a bed in his room and put a baby gate in front of the door. He would open his door and yell for me so I’d get up and give him a little love and put him back in bed. After a week he got the idea. Also give a bath right before bed. It’s suppose to make them tired.
If he does already sleep in silence or the dark maybe you should try the opposite and get a nightlight or a noise machine that can play like white noise or something?
