So I have a question.. Would you ladies give your SO a second chance of he cheated on you?. But he came to you and told you instead of having to catch him redhanded and was truthful about EVERYTHING.
I can definitely respect that, I'd go ahead and give it another chance but I know I wouldn't fully trust him anymore and it will still take a toll on you and always be in the back of your mind as "what if" which can cause a lot of strain on you and your relationship so you'd have to be prepared for that. I'd leave if he does it again but the fact he owned up about it to me shows guilt and that he's trying to take responsibility for his f*** up and that to me is huge. I've been cheated on a lot in my past relationships and being honest like that is something none of them ever did, but that's because they did not care about me and didn't feel guilty or anything about it other than happy with themselves and their actions. If you feel him coming to you was sincere and you want to try to move passed it then do it, I wouldn't blame you for wanting to try to work things out. I do believe that cheater always cheats and you should never be an after thought however I do know that different people do things because of different reasons not that I agree with cheating or find it excusable in any way but I'm saying I'm a little more understanding than most and try to do a little more than what some women may be willing to do even if it hurts. Leave if you feel you should and stay if you feel you can, but overall I can respect somebody for admitting to their wrongs as quickly as it seems he did. You're the only person who can truly decide for yourself and no matter what you choose to do I fully support you and your decisions but I will tell you that you will never trust him the way you did before and your guard will be up more than before and it will hurt for a very long time no matter if you stay or choose to leave. Be strong honey❤
@shay2beautiful, if kids were involved absolutely yes. If they are a BF and no kids absolutely no. I don't believe once a cheater always a cheater but I do believe 98% of men are cheaters if that makes sense. If a person does decide to forgive after cheating I think there should b a long break in the relationship like no contact and lives moved on for months or even years if it's true love it will come back as they say and no it won't come back a week or month later that's just a horny man. I have the most amazing relationship ever and we both know its for the long haul 1 yr friendship plus 6 years dating and 4 years married after 11 years we can't say it's always been easy we had one long break and it was the best thing for our relationship ever. It was true love bc we made it through and 4 years after that we married. One baby and many more in the future. Some men have to think they lost u forever before they actually grow up. Any man who won't go to Counseling or don't believe in it isn't the man for u. Everything needs time to heal just so happens the best way to heal a man is to cut him off just my thoughts
Sorry, I'm in the middle of moving!! I also wouldn't though. In my mind, once a cheater, always a cheater. I personally, would never trust them again.

Are you ok if it happens again? Then sure but that's always going to be in your head now and the first time you didn't even know so in his mind he can do it and get away with it if he wants.
He had no respect or regards how you would feel when he cheated so I wouldn't cause it's like a guy that hits you if he does it once it won't be the last. And that can be emotionally draining and hurtful. Verbal abuse is still abuse even if it's not physical. Good luck!
Mine cheated. I still don't forgive him honestly, nor do I trust him. Bit he gets this one last chance bc of our daughter. He's been very caring and doesn't leave my side, leaves his phone unlocked, and other things to try to earn my trust back. If I decide to leave/make him leave, he's not getting his daughter. Sounds mean but if you f*ck up why deserve her who we made together
Pretty much what they're saying, if he cheated then there's no respect for you, and why should u fake yourself to try to ignore that it didn't happen? Ya if he's their baby daddy, let him be apart of their lives, but you shouldn't suffer with a person that don't know about respect. I know a few that know their man is and has been cheating on them for idk how long but she don't want to leave him cause they have 3 kids together. Plus when we hang out he's so rude to her in every way possible. And I just don't understand that at all. Everyone is worth so much more then what they think, and don't deserve nonsense. You gotta Love yourself first to understand your worth. 😊
Nope once a cheater always a cheater.. I would appreciate he was actually mature enough to tell me but would walk away.. like some ladies said trust is the biggest thing in a relationship and once it's broken it's never coming back.
Because I have huge insecurity issues as it is so I don't think I could handle knowing someone could do that to me. Plus in my prior experience my mom cheated on my dad for years. It never changed. He would take her back and she would go do it again.
Because if you love me why would u cheat on me? Just if i cheat on u i dont dont love u i just have love for u, and why would i wanna be with someone who fucked or sucked or talking to other girls/thinking about other girls sorry for my langauge in my eyes i want true love or nothing at all
I couldn't my husband knows cheating and abuse are the only things that would cause us to get a divorce my aunt did with my uncle and things got really bad before they got better my other one he continued to cheat even after she stayed I feel like staying would condone the behavior
@shay2beautiful I wouldn't because I have in the past with an ex. What relationship is healthy or good especially with kids involved if your constantly questioning your spouse? Or constantly having anxiety about where he's at or what he's doing? Because trust me even if your mind says you forgive your heart doesn't and you never forget. It's not healthy for children or for the relationship in my eyes.
@shay2beautiful, I just wouldn't. I know myself, and I would dwell on the past and that would be unhealthy. And if a man cared about a woman they wouldn't cheat. They should come to the woman and talk/end things before going out to be with another woman
@shay2beautiful When I was just first dating my now husband he cheated, but we were fresh in the relationship and weren't really taking things too seriously. I forgave him and we've been together for 4 years now married for almost 1. Never had problems in that area again.
Lmao my boyfriend cheated and I took him back. Biggest mistake of my life if you ask me. I'm just not happy and I don't trust him anymore. But at least he's there for my daughter I guess.
@rainbowcin1 @raycharles1230 😊 cool sorry for the misunderstanding
@spongey @caylintay @sawyersmom @juliaschade41 @tayler @emily526 @lexieelovee0329 Thanks ladies for responding.. Why wouldn't you if you don't mind me asking?.
Didn't think it was. Just easier giving an answer when someone asks a general question 😊
@rainbowcin1 @raycharles1230 I didn't say this was about me but thank you ladies for answering
It honestly depends on the situation in my opinion.
That's up to you Hun. I went through that with an ex. It wasn't easy but finally I realized, if I was not his first choice, I am not second. You can honestly make yourself happier on your own than dealing with the stress of wondering if he is being faithful to you.
I could tell him I forgave him but then i would be the one lying. Trust is almost impossible to get back after being broken.
Heck no! If he cheats then he doesn't respect you. Trust is something you just can't get back. He should have been truthful about feelings before cheating. Cheating isn't an accident it's well played out.

This is my son Walter. Today is his birthday. He would have been five. This picture was taken when he was 16 days old. He was my first child and my only son (I now have 3 girls). He passed away the next day after this picture from congenital heart failure. It was a miracle that he lived passed 12 weeks gestation because of how severe his heart defects were. I miss him so much, I can't believe it's been 5 years. It still hurts so bad. I don't talk about him a lot out loud because I end up bawling...
Would you punch your husband
In the eye so he didn't have to go to work?
siblings
How many siblings do you and your SO have?
I would and would also get counciling. If it happened again then no
