Alright so I’m new to this but I need some serious advice. I’m scared to death on what I should do in my life! I’m 19…

@redheaded_inkednurse, I really do want to. I work a full time job and hoping to go to college this summer or go to a technical college and learn trades while she’s young. I’m just scared I’ll make the wrong decision

Keep your baby girl. Raise her the best you can. Support her with all that you have. Don't overthink it. She's gonna love you no matter what. Even on the days you may not know it. Everyone can have their stupid opinions, but ultimately, you are doing your very best and that's what counts. They can leave just as easily as they expected you to leave your baby. For anyone to tell you to do that, they don't deserve to be around for your beautiful future with her. You got this.❤

Keep her and prove to everybody how strong you really are and that you can do it. I had my son at 19 and I was scared to death. I had a full time job and the unknown of having a baby scared me shitless. But I did it! There were times where I wanted to give up, but he’s a wild two year old now and I’d do anything for him. He’s my whole world and I’m so thankful to grow with him while he grows.

@kcamps, my biggest fear is not being able to support her with all my other bills....

@haven.shelby7, I completely understand that fear. I’ve been there, have you thought about reaching out for government assistance? You can do WIC, food stamps, and cash assistance, and even have her covered with health insurance through the state. They are there to help you and your little one!

@kcamps, I can try WIC but food stamps I can’t do because the people in my household make too much, im living there rent free but it’s a household income right?

@haven.shelby7, yeah for food stamps they calculate through the household income, but you could always try to explain your situation and let them know even though you don’t pay rent you do pay other bills that leaves you tight on money for food. There’s definitely ways to get around it!

Girl I am 18, going back to school in August and just recently quit my full time job to get a part one so I could be home more. The good things in life are never easy but I want you to know it is possible. And if you decide to keep her. Anyone that really loves you will support you.

@mollygirl26, yeah I just had to quit my full time job because my bosses where just absolutely horrible and wouldn’t even let me go pee when I needed to. It was a disaster so now I need to find another job but my savings for my baby are wearing up from bills and things

@haven.shelby7 oh I you understand there. It adds up quick. I am really bad with that so I bought a planner and budget bills in then what's left over and what I need for the baby and how much I have that week to spend on it. Organization is key!

@haven.shelby7 well first I just got a planner I liked. Then added every bill for that month on the day it was due. Then added pay days. Then seen after paying bills that week how much was left. Put that on a sticky note at the end of the week. Wrote a list of what was needed for baby. And depending on the amount of money that week wrote a goal to buy that thing. For bigger things maybe 2 weeks. I plan to spend most of taxes on it though.
