The issue being discussed was santa and the types of gifts he gives and how parents should not say they santa gives big gifts.

No I actually got plenty of gifts from santa I was happy to receive. Not big electronic gifts but enough to make a child happy. My kids don’t put others down. You don’t know what goes on in their homes, maybe a family went a few Christmas with the minimum and one year got blessed to give them more and they get put down for that 🤦🏻‍♀️. You do your Christmas your way and have fun.

@madison.byrd2017, yes! I completely agree and I can honestly relate.. it’s just heartbreaking, glad to know some people purposely raise their kids to think they’re better than others. Smh.

When I was younger I remember going through this. My parents never had much money for the holidays. So I always got necessities that I was low on. While others kids at school would brag about all the awesome and expensive presents that they got. It always made me feel bad and embarrassed. Even as a little kid. Some families just aren't as fortunate as others. And it affects the kids too. Those kids have to go to school and deal with kids who are rude and tease other kids for not being as fortunate and having the most updated things or the in style clothing. For the holidays and all year round shouldn't we try and be considerate of others and try to make this world a better place for our families?

Santa got my kid a tablet who doesn’t like it can buy it for him and put your name on it. My three kids are different age range and they younger ones don’t believe that santa loves them less than their brother 🤷🏻‍♀️. I get the message but I’m not going to change my way of gift giving just to make it convenient to others that can’t get expensive gifts.
