So my fifteen month old son decide to throw himself on the floor then hit his head on the floor on purpose when he’s throwing a fit if it’s not that he throws himself backwards like a contortionist
@hazelnautumnsmomma125, yeah I need to be more like that. I just don’t like how people stare at you.
@misskimmie25 i understand girl. I don't get too embarrassed usually I just tell autumn to stop and if she won't I'll be like well its gonna hurt!
@hazelnautumnsmomma125, I hope so too because it’s embarrassing when he throws this type of fit in public
@hazelnautumnsmomma125, yeah unfortunately they just say it’s part of him discovering what he can do and what he can’t
@misskimmie25 oh no! That's not good😕 my daughter doesn't go to daycare..but she also doesn't hit thankfully lol Hmm have you asked his pediatrician about it?
@hazelnautumnsmomma125, if I pop him it doesn’t work. It doesn’t phase him and I don’t want to hit him harder because I don’t feel right about it plus then he finds it ok to hit other kids at his daycare
@misskimmie25 that's how autumn was. If she hit something soft she'd move to hit something hard! I got upset that she hurt herself and I don't like popping her but that's the only thing that helps. I feel like I'm popping her leg lighter than she hits her head so I know it doesn't hurt it just upsets her.
@hazelnautumnsmomma125, he probably started at that age but it progressed to him hitting his head and that’s what I’m worried about. He bruises easily when he bumps his head. He doesn’t care where he’s at. He could be in my arms and he’ll throw himself backwards. I’m at a loss for words on what to do 😔
My daughter does this. She started at like 11 months old. Her doctor said its more common in boys but that she should outgrow it but now that shes 17 months old I pop her on the leg when she does and she'll stop and doesn't do it as often. She would make sure it was on the hard floor or her crib.. 🙄
@misskimmie25 lol I used to be more embarrassed but not anymore. I just stopped caring😂
