Breastfeeding mommies. Lets say i wanted to have a few drinks for the holidays how would i do so without it transfering to my baby? HELP MEE!

Short Luteal Phase? I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Things I never thought I'd say... Until I became a mom:
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

You'd have to be severely intoxicated for any of it to go to your baby. Just make sure you feel comfortable enough to hold your babe / not on the verge of falling asleep !

@twinmama8615, as long as you’re not completely wasted, you’re fine. I’ve had three beers and felt fine and still fed my kids.

Absolutely. Beer has the least amount of alcohol typically unless you're an IPA drinker or something. And even then, one beer won't put you over the limit.

They proved the pump and dump thing to be an unnecessary precaution! They compare your breastmilk to pouring a shot of liquor into a swimming pool. The actual risk is making sure you’re not too intoxicated to care for your baby :) have fun!!

I downloaded the Michigan Univerisity BAC tracking app with my daughter if I had a few that night so I would wake up and feel safe (or not) to feed her.

No pump and dump is a myth. It's also a myth that you can't have a glass of wine and drink. Whatever your BAC is at the time is the alcohol percentage of your BM. If your BAC is .08, your milk is .08% alcohol.

You could also pump extra milk and store it and give it to the baby while you're drinking.
