I need mommy opinion about getting my son circumcised I don’t know if I should or should !!
I think the cleaning doesn't really sink in until middle school/high when they get self concious around their peers and girls etc. But I mean, at the end of the day most children are gonna survive cut or uncut. Personally, ill always be against it. No biggie. @aussiekiss
@kambam lmao ok so im glad u said that because the was the convo my husband and i had. he said all boys talk about it at some point and our baby would probably ask us one day why is his bro cut bt nt him and my only fear w him was the pain really bt i asked myself like if i ask him as a teen he would probably thank me and say he had no idea it was a painful experience. if i could go back tho i probably wouldnt have put my 1st born thru that and just taught him proper hygiene bt also its hard w boys. my son is 6 and im a clean clean clean ocd momma and he still doesnt get it. my motto is so fresh and so clean and i thought i could instill that in him like repeat it daily bt he still doesnt care. i take my time to show him how to properly bath and if i leave it up to him he wont be clean like ive taught him his whole 6 years of living & thats what i thought about too in making my decision.
Poor guy. It is a little weird to do it to one kid and not the other though. Can you imagine finding out your sibling is different 😣@aussiekiss
@kambam i get it. and honestly i thought about nt doing my second son and i did research and scared myself bt i did it anyway and he was ok. and 50? hes out of his mind lol. my husband says he wish his mom got him circumcised because he was in foster care and no one taught him hygiene so he had to teach himself and had to stay on it so...
Yes of course! All opinions welcome. My sons grandpa had it done at like 50 😂 not even for any medical reason. Its more painful but to me its better to let my son and future children decide on their own @aussiekiss
@kambam and thats ur personal opinion and thats fine. i just feel like everyone should let moms and moms to be chose whats best for them instead of others trying to push beliefs on them because of their personal opinion. its and option because there have been men who got infections and had to get the skin removed as an adult which is sure to be 10x the pain as babies. im sure if i asked my 6 year old hey u remember the pain from ur dick being snipped when u were a week old he would look at me like i was crazy bt ask an adult male who got an infection im sure they will advise just because of that 2% chance of that happening.
I just don't think it should be an option anymore personally. Just not medically necessary for newborns @aussiekiss just some weird leftover religious trend that's so deep rooted into America now. But I guess it will always be around as long as people request it.
@kambam my husband was uncircumcised too bt we both decided to get our boys circumsised. i just think its a prefrence. some women do it some dont no big deal. my boys are perfectly healthy so...
I'm not making decisions about anybody's body parts but mine. Ever. That's interesting that he chose that though? Care to share why? @tasticmel
@kambam, @mommytoatlas, Doesn’t make me ignorant for letting my husband have a say. I did my research too. But when it came down to making the decision I let my husband decide because yes he is the one who has a penis. I wouldn’t want someone with a penis making a decision for what’s best for my vagina. Also my husband is uncircumcised, and he chose to have it done for our son. He has his reasons for it.
I chose not to be ignorant and research it myself. Just because his dad has a fucking penis doesn't make him the dick master. I was already deadset on not having it done but after watching some procedures on YouTube I was like HELL NAW
@_sheriee, I thought the same way. Let my husband decide since he is the one with the penis lol. @babyleeks, my husband’s not circumcised but he choose to have it done for our son.
I did it. I let my husband decide since he has a penis and knows more about it than me lol.
I did not. It's unnecessary and doesn't even do anything lol. The foreskin is there for a reason, that's why they're born with it. You just have to teach proper hygiene and everything will be fine.
Should I let my x know when labor starts
My husband takes his cousin girlfriend to work. Should I be worried about the FEMALE coming on to my husband?

mommies what should I do
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Honestly it’s really an extremely painful procedure for the baby. No matter how many people say “my baby slept through it” or “my baby didn’t cry” it’s been studied and recorded that it damages the brain function and the brain never goes back to normal. Pain meds they use on the baby (lidocaine or penile nerve block) are ineffective. That’s also been studied. There’s a lot of info out there about the benefits of foreskin and all the myths about circumcision helping prevent infections has been debunked. Also, body autonomy is important for me as a woman, why wouldn’t I want my son to have the same choices?
