Okay so I'm about to post about my 3 year old and before anyone says "take him to the pediatrician." I alresdy have. He has been sick since last Wednesday. Hasn't ate ANYTHING since last friday, so a full week. He is drinking pediasure and lots of whole milk . Plenty of water, no concerns of dehydration. My only worry is he refuses to eat. He has been on antibiotics for 5 days and is definitely feeling better. However, he refuses to eat. It's driving me nuts. His pediatrician, and a urgent care Dr. say as long as he is hydrated he is fine. But it's scary knowing he hasn't ate in a week. Have any of you gone through anything like this?
I know it's hard... My daughter was sick for a 2 weeks almost and wouldn't eat anything it's hard watching them go threw that stuff. If his throat is hurting popsicles could help too
@shayla.galloway I'm sure you're right. That'd what the Dr's keep saying I just feel like a week is so long
@alexandramarie15 of that shake is giving him a lot of nutritional factors though u shouldn't worry to much. He will want to eat eventually maybe just wait til he asks for something else.
He asked for a happy meal yesterday so I drove straight to McDonald's ti buy him one then he refused to eat it. I ask him if his throat hurts he says no I just don't want it covers his mouth, runs and hides.
@shayla.galloway he just says nothing. Milk, and shake (pediasure)that's all he wants. He is playing, and laughing like himself. Just refuses to eat. It's driving me nuts. The Dr says as long as he is hydrated he is fine. But it's so nerve racking knowing he isn't eating.
@alexandramarie15 have u asked what he wants though?
@shayla.galloway I've tried everything! No lie, all his favorites. McDonalds, pizza, soup, chips, gold fish, fruits, veggies anything he normally would like to eat. He just isn't having it.
Maybe ask him what kinda foods he would like to eat.
Okay so maybe try some snack foods something interesting because all though he is acting better doesn't mean he is better. foods that interest him might make him want it more. So crackers or chips what ever. Maybe offer yogurt. Anything that you can think of to help the poor baby.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Religion Conspiracy/Theory
**This is not to bash peoples religion and beliefs but to talk about our own theories and ideas** I would like to discuss a certain topic that came to mind after talking to my SO. I know some of you ladies like a good conspiracy talk so i would like to have a good discussion and hear thoughts of others. So back story my SO friends got very offended when he mentioned not believing in god or religion and it got me thinking. Is religion a failing form of goverment cont...

My husband and I aren’t exactly strangers when it comes to relationship challenges 💞. We have been together for 14 years and married for eight, so we’ve definitely gone through some growing pains as we navigated a long-distance relationship in college and our first year living together as a married 👫 couple.
But nothing has challenged our relationship quite like our first year as 👪 parents .
Before you have your first child, you have these grand ideas of what it will be like. There’s more slee...

Racial nickname
I sometimes call my lo monkey. To me he looks like a little monkey. My so says it's racist and offensive. What do you think?
I went through it with my son a month or so ago. He didn't eat formula or anything for a week. The doctor said as long as I kept him hydrated it was ok. It's scary and frustrating but he will start eating again lol and he will make up for all the food he hasn't eaten lately. Pediasure will at least give him the vitamins he needs !
