Ok 2 things. #1. Is it normal to not have my period yet? Not that I'm complaining to much, just curious. #2. How long does it take for a c-section to heal? Mine still hurts and the incision location is still red and puffy. I thought that after 6 months I would be almost normal by now.

You might want to go get the scar checked . I had a c section and by 2 weeks it was healed enough to wear normal clothes , and by a month it just looked like a scar

@emontesmom I had complications with mine opening up with in the first 2 weeks after birth, but I can wear normal clothes now. It just still hurts like hell and sometimes moving makes it worse.

Oh dang I’m sorry that must suck .. mine never did none of that

@kaytibug2009, yours should already be in the process of healing , no redness or puffyness and your period should of already came , I got mine a month or two after my daughter.
Now that I’m prego again I don’t have one.

@blessedmamaoftwo well I still haven't had my period and my incision is red and puffy a little still.

@kaytibug2009, have you been to the doc lately?

If you are BFing @kaytibug2009 you can go several months with no period.... Some ppl go a year. Also my scar was sore for almost a year after giving birth and it was dark for a long time.... If it isn't bright red like blood or leaking soreness is more than likely normal and just takes time. For me everything too like a good year! Haha
