Natural birth moms, how bad is it? I had an epidural with my first, but my insurance will not cover the cost of an epidural, is it really as bad as people make it out to be? Or is it simple and fast?
@lillynellasmom I was told that by my secondary insurance. They specifically said they will not cover anything if primary does not cover some. It's really ridiculous! With my first they never said they wouldn't cover until after the birth when I found out that primary wouldn't pay.
I quitter sore Blue Cross Blue Shield covered epidural cuz if I'm not mistaken my aunt had that when she had her son but I could be wrong and she would have changed her insurance.
@kami24706 I thought what ever your primary doesn't pay for your secondary will pay for it. Who told you that and did you call your secondary to see since I guess your primary doesn't cover it? If not wouldn't hurt to ask.
@lillynellasmom I have Blue Cross Blue Shield and Care First through ACCCHS. I was told that since my primary won't pay anything, then the secondary will not cover it either. :(
It depends on how long the labor is. Once my water broke, my daughter came out 41 minutes later. I was in a ton of pain, but once she was out, I forget all about the pain. The recovery time after is super quick. I definitely enjoyed the experience a lot more than the epidural I had with my first. Good luck! Oh and natural birth tends to give you hot flashes so make sure to have cool damp washcloths with you!
What insurance do you have if you don't mind me asking. They should be sued for not paying for that are they crazy or all men that work there. Lol sorry so weird never hear one saying no to it.
@kami24706 damn that sucks I am sorry and I would have been pissed off finding that out after the fact.
