My baby has got a couple fat rolls under his neck. I’ve noticed that under one is pretty red. I have read that it’s from drool. Anyone else had this with their little one? If so what did you do? He goes Thursday for his 4 month check up but wanted to get some opinions from you guys to see if it’ll clear up a little by then.

@ginamrawls, sometimes it happens even if you’re 100% sure you 100% cleaned them. So don’t feel bad momma.
@brianne, I didn’t know what to do when I seen it. I felt horrible !!! I was thinking, my goodness I keep this child as clean as possible how can he get something like this. ! I’ve been keeping a close eye on it to make sure it’s dry and clean. I hope it goes away soon. I feel so bad!
Just make sure you keep his neck as clean as possible. It’s very normal. No one warned me about it until one day I was cleaning up my daughters puke and when I was making sure to get In her neck rolls I saw a bad rash. I felt like a pile of shit for it. ):
You can use cornstarch to keep dry and a little diaper cream if there's a rash
It happened to my son, too! My pediatrician said it’s pretty common and to keep it as dry as possible and use a bit of protective cream (diaper cream, A+D, or eczema cream, anything that creates a water barrier) if it seems like they’re uncomfortable. Hope that helps and your little one gets over it quick!
