@carlierose23, omgsh yea I was literally sitting up, anesthesiologist behind me with the needle, and on my next contraction his head popped out! They didn’t believe me when I said he was already coming 😂 it happened so fast!
@vegasmomma omg lol for me i got to the hospital at 6:02 am they got me a room alrady and the contractions were so bad i was waiting for the epidural rhe anesthesiologist was in a C-section so I had to wait then three minutes later I felt the urge to push and I kept telling the nurse like I got to push she was like okay hold on and she was like okay you're five cm like a 5 then another contraction hit and I was like no I need to push like I cannot stop pushing my body just pushed for myself and so she checked me and I was at 10 and by the time she told my man to hit the red button he turned around and our daughter was already out😭😂
@carlierose23, that’s so crazy!! With me we got to the hospital around 7pm. Contractions were strong but manageable and irregular between 2-5 minutes apart and I was only at a 3 so they had me walk the halls for an hour. During that hour they got stronger and became a consistent 2 minutes apart but I was still only at a 3.5 but they admitted me. By the time I got to a room they were starting to come once a minute or so and super strong. My nurse had trouble getting an IV started and said I needed to have at least a bag and a half of saline before I could get the epidural. That literally felt like forever and at that point they were excruciating and after I finished 1 bag she called the anesthesiologist and said he just needed to grab his stuff and he would be in. Seemed like forever but it probably was only a few minutes! My water broke and my nurse said I was a 7. My husband and a nurse sat me up and got me to the edge of the bed right as I had a powerful contraction and they said after it passed that he was right behind me ready to go. Well he wasn’t quite ready and I got another contraction about 30 seconds later and I got the urge to push and I couldn’t stop! They kept telling me not to push but I literally couldn’t stop if I wanted to lol I could feel his head pushing against the bed so I pushed myself backwards so I could lay down and sure enough his head was out! Two pushes later and he was here!
Oh and funny part was the anesthesiologist couldn’t get out of the way quick enough so I literally sat on the epidural needle 😂 I had no idea it was sticking out of my butt until they had to move me!
