I wonder how my 1 an half year old son will react when he meets his baby brother? 🤔 will he know that’s he’s brother? I hope it all goes well. Anyone have stories introducing there baby’s?
@danielsmomma, you will be fine you will get through it..it’s rough but helps if you have someone to help you like my mom comes over sometimes and plays with the older so I can cook something while baby sleeps or spend time with baby and my husband been taking care of the older one at night they sleep together bc he absolutely hates his crib and screams at night so that way i get sleep at night and I cosleep with baby which makes it soo much easier for me for now
@barefootmom, thank you for sharing, just so nervous I’m going to do something wrong. And my son is rough so I know I’m going to be on guard 24/7 it’s going to be rough for awhile I’ll be running off no sleep and coffee
My son was 17 months when baby brother arrived. He didn’t care for him when he came to hospital to meet him he was more interested in all the things in the room lol they ate too young to understand at that age. But he warmed up to him at home and now always says “baby” when the baby cries he very concerned and runs to him every time and gives him pacifier . But you gotta watch bc he little rough so we keep telling him gentle kisses only. The other day i turned away for a second and he was in the floor gym instantly almost on top of baby it scared me. But they will be best buds once baby grows up. Good luck!
