This is going to be a rant/vent.. So sorry in advance mommas! I hope I'm making sense with this post😣
It's been a bit over a month since my daughter was born. The plan was to breastfeed, but of course, other things happened: I got an allergic reaction to the steri strips and was put on antibiotics; I then developed seroma above my c-section incision a week later, and ended up in the E.R. with 103.5° temperature; My OB came down to the E.R. and drained it from cutting a small part open (it was superficial (hurt like hell but felt so much better afterwards); I was also recommended to see a wound care specialist, and am now using a wound vac to get this finally healed up! 😧 I just want all this to be over with so I can finally bond with my son more and just do more than what I'm doing now. Lugging around a medical wound vac while holding a month old infant, having an almost 18m old follow you around and trying to get housework done is really difficult. I am hoping I have one more week with this vac, like what the nurse had told me on Monday at my appointment. I don't even want to go to the grocery store with this on. I'm not embarrassed at all, bc my body went through a tough time for my babies, but it takes a toll on my shoulder and back.
I had a C-section with my first, but didn't have complications with it. I'm sorry your going through that girl! I hope you feel much better soon!
@_cskxx3 I've never had a c section either but I just couldn't imagine going through what you are. I hate when people down play c section momma's. They still made a baby, carried a baby, had a baby, and usually have a longer or harder healing process. You're taking on a lot right now. Stay strong. 💪
@rikki.ferguson Thank you so much. But yes, I definitely need them. I know I will, but it's so difficult to deal with, and especially to just hold it all inside bc no one in my family had a c-section so it's hard to explain to them
Girl, that sounds so rough! Prayers for you! You definitely need them. You'll get through all this though.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Having some pretty intense constant lower back pain and maybe super light contractions. But can't tell because the back pain is way over powering contractions so I'm walking around my room to see if they get worse.
Does anyone like their in laws?
With all the posts about terrible in laws I was just wondering if anyone actually likes their in laws?!?! I love me in laws. I'm blessed to have such a wonderful immediate and extended family. My mil loves spending time with my boys. She comes over at least once a week and will sleep over. She gets up with the boys in the morning and let's my husband and I sleep in. My fil is a great man also. He's always coming over to visit and do some odd jobs around the house...

Im over the moon after so many prayers. I have finally got my babby girl GOD IS GOOD

@rikki.ferguson @shannonmallory93 I've had two and this recovery with my daughter is much tougher, than my recovery with my son. I'm just hoping it'll be over soon. Thank you ladies!
