So what did you guys pack in your hospital bag??? I don’t want to over pack or under pack..

I packed a gown, going home clothes, toiletry, socks, chapstick,hair ties

For baby his going home outfit, an extra onsie qnd pants, and burp clothes

Snacks, change, going home outfit for everyone, toiletries incase you want to shower, camera, blanket and pillow

This time around i just stayed in the gown they provided. Easier and dont have to worry about bleeding through your clothes. But i brought comfy clothes and underwear for the ride home. I brought my own towels bc theirs are usually to small. I brought my own body wash and shampoo and conditioner that didn't have perfume in it. Lots of hair ties lol battery charger, snacks and juice and a few bucks for the cafeteria or gift shop, my hospital provided as many blankets and pillows that i wanted, but if u have something you can sleep without bring it, slippers, nails clippers and file. A duffle bag or something bc my hospital sends home a lot. A water bottle bc it helps to drink a lot of water. A notebook and pencil so while you are there you can keep track of how often baby soils a diaper anx how often you go to the bathroom. Write down questions that u can think of while there. Right down nurses names, medicines they give you, stuff like that

For baby, i brought a diaper bag with a few outfits. My son was 9lbs 14 oz and still came home in size nb clothing but size 1 diaper. Usually hospitals provide diapers but i brought 3 nb and 3 size 1s just incase. Burp clothes, wipes, and a going home outfit.

All I had were outfits for the hospital stay. Multiple bras. Hospital had everything else I needed.

I always over pack lol. But I take toiletries, clothes, nursing bras if you plan to nurse, clothes for the baby, house shoes, socks, I packed my Hubby an outfit, my chargers, my laptop, pads, witch hazel pads and any snacks I liked
