It hurts but your body can do amazing things. You will be fine. I have done it 4 times and will do it again 🤷🏻‍♀️

@meeyahhoward, listen when I was pregnant for the first time I was TERRIFIED. I begged my doctor to just do a csection and my insurance wouldn’t cover it so that was out lol then I gave birth and it was bad but it wasn’t as bad as I thought. When the pain gets to bad just get an epidural and you will be just fine. Don’t get the epidural to early though because if you do then by the time you need to push it will have worn off and then you will feel the ring of fire and the ring of fire is no joke at all.

Depends on the person. Not a single person has the same pain tolerance. So honestly it will depend on you Hun

@meeyahhoward people have different tolerations to pain.. it's only the contractions but it don't last for long if your getting the epidural... My first pregnancy I felt like I was dieing only cause it was my first n my brain was telling me I'm in so much pain but really wasn't... The more u have kids the less the pain 😂 but trust me while you in labor pretend like you done had like 3 kids all ready and that u got this. It will go smoothly 👌👌 1-10 like a 6

Id say at first its like cramping that's annoying and inconsistent at like a 2 or a 3 then it gradually intensifies to a 5 or a 6 once you're around like 6cm dilated then the closer you get to 10cm dilated the closer that pain scale goes to 10 😂but its only a 10 for like maybe a half hour when you're pushing the baby out. In my opinion the majority of labor it like a 6 on the pain scale. 👌

For me it was about a 4 for the first 12 hours and then all of a sudden it was a full on 10 and I couldn't do it without the epidural because I was throwing up during every contraction because of the pain.

I was contracting all day, it wasn’t too bad until my water broke, then the contractions were a 10!!! I got an epidural and it was such a relief I didn’t feel a thing while pushing

The Pain Is Different For Everybody To Me It Felt Like Strong Period Cramps I Had A C-Section Nd Was Fine The Next Day Only Thing The Epidural Gives Yu Back Pain After

Depends I had no pain for my daughter and I was contracting and dilating normally everybody handles pain differently

@meeyahhoward you can always ask for an epidural! At least that'll get you through the rest. But missheather is right. Your body does what it has to do in that moment. You'll do great I'm sure! Good luck!
