I’m so ready to have my baby boy here with me!! Did any other moms have sugar problems but it want bad enough to affect the pregnancy? I’ve never had any complications due to it. I’ll be 36 weeks Monday what do y’all think will happen?

@keonataylor do they have u on insulin or just diet? Are u tracking your sugar

@andkitch1992, yeah I don’t wanna have him at 36 weeks and the doctor don’t want me to. I was just wondering if he would wanna induce me Incase or anything. Yeah my little one always scores perfect on everything it’s just my dang sugar but I don’t have any swelling or anything.
I was induced at 39 weeks due to my GD even though my sugar was controlled well on just diet. At 38w5d my doctor gave me an ultrasound where he scored 10/10 meaning he was breathing on his own and at exactly 39 weeks i gave birth to my 7lb little boy. I still think 36 weeks is a bit early but they may want your baby out before week 40 as thats when risks start to increase

@malainaheka23, the doctor said where I have sugar problems it may cause them not be developed properly yet but he said that he’s a very healthy baby and all his measurements are perfect and everything else is right where it needs to be. So I’m not really worried about him.
@keonataylor, that's so weird. Your GD just might be hereditary since you said your mom and grandma had it also.

@malainaheka23, I’ve been craving water and milk. If I drink pop it’s usually sprite and only one a day.
@keonataylor, How about pop? Do you drink a lot of soda or anything with high fructose corn syrup?
@malainaheka23, my doctor said his lungs may not be developed if I go into labor at 36 weeks but in the ultrasound he’s breathing on his own some.
@malainaheka23, no not at all. I don’t really like sweets never have they make me feel sick.
@keonataylor, yeah, it goes away after pregnancy, but it also increases your baby's chance of getting actual diabetes in the future. Do you eat a lot of sugar?
@malainaheka23, yeah I am. My mom and Mamaw had it to it’s only while we are pregnant.
