I know they say newborns stomachs are tiny and they only eat 1 1/2 oz but I swear, my daughter eats more than that.. I put her on both boobs for over 10 minutes to help keep my supply up and she is still screaming at me and rooting out for a nipple...

They aren’t that efficient at getting milk yet. It could take her that long to get about an ounce. And she is also probably cluster feeding.

@sawyersmom, that’s why I’m trying so hard to get her latch better but it’s not working.. round two with an LC today..

Hopefully she latches better for you! It takes about a month for them to be efficient at breastfeeding. Just be patient
