How much clothing did you mamas buy for a newborn? How many newborn pieces and 0-3 months?

So I had way way way too much he didn’t even get to wear it all. If I could go back I would have had 8-10 sleepers, 7-10 onesies, couple pairs of stretchy pants/leggings and socks and that’s it! Maybe a going home outfit you really love! They’ll only be in newborn a month or so if that unless you have a super tiny babe!

@samanthaann, thank you I didn’t want to over due it my first was 5lb and 15 ounces and fit into premie for about a month then newborn and 0-3 months after so all the things we got he didn’t get to wear till 3 months cause we had to buy smaller clothes after he was born

@mariacardnz123, was he born premie or just a small baby? Maybe consider that for this next one maybe have a couple preemie outfits on hand!

He was born at 35 weeks and we initially thought newborn would fit him being newborn clothing is tiny but he would swim in them so we had to buy premie

@samanthaann, and I’m deft considering some premie outfits just in case we need them I just don’t want to buy a lot of 0-3 or even 3 months if she’s not going to fit in them right away

About 4 short sleeve and 3 sleepers. Mine still wears some newborn at 6 weeks and he was a big baby so it depends
