Yep ! They put him on my chest, hubby cut the cord, they left him with me until the placenta and everything was out, took him to get weighed while I got stitched up then he came right back to my chest

Yes I did. And I had a c section. I was so shocked because when I had my first 2 c sections I didn’t get to hold them. But this time around they put him up on my neck/chest area, and one arm was loose to hold on to him. Then after they stitched me up (I was holding him the whole time) I held him on the way to recovery. He NEVER left me lol.

Yep, immediately after we did mandatory skin to skin for an hour before anything else. I was stitched up with her in my arms, then after the hour, she was weighed, bathed, and we were moved to my recovery room.

No they put him by my face to let me see him then they took him away so I could get closed up
